Giving to ECS

The Environmental Charter School at Frick Park is a public school like no other in the city of Pittsburgh.  Our unique programming embraces the need for flexible thinkers, creative problem solvers, and effective leaders in our increasingly more complex world.  We provide students the tools and educational foundation to become tomorrow's global citizen, and we strive to teach students how their choices impact the world around them.

ECS provides children with an innovative educational experience at no cost to our students' families.  As a free, public charter school, ECS operates its unique and thoughtful programming with 40% less funding than other local public schools. While it costs the same amount to educate an ECS student attending a traditional public school, ECS must rely on careful management and fundraising to pay for the many things that make our school special.
