Library Circulation begins Tuesday, September 6.
This year library circulation is a part of the 4 day specials rotation. Students will have an opportunity to visit the library weekly on the assigned class library day. Please see the schedule below to determine your child’s cycle day.
· Library books will always be due 2 cycles from the date borrowed. (Kindergarden students will borrow a new book each cycle.)
Due dates will be stamped on cards inside each library book.
For example:
Books borrowed on Tuesday, September 6 [Day 1]
will be due on Thursday, September 22 [Day 1]
· Students may choose to return their book on the next library day or renew as needed.

· Kindergarten- 1st Grade students may borrow 1 book at a time
· Grades 2-6 may borrow up to 2 books at a time
Students must return their library book from the previous week before checking out a new one. Unlimited renewals are allowed as long as a student is actively reading a title.
Book Care
Each student should be encouraged to take responsibility for the care and return of his/her library book. Please help your child dedicate a location at home that is easy to remember and out of reach of younger siblings and/or pets to store library books (book bag, bookshelf, study area).

All lost books need to confirmed by an adult with a note, phone call or email before the lost book is removed from a student account. Replacement costs of library books range from $3.99 to $24.99 and families will be charged accordingly for all lost or destroyed materials.
