Welcome to Imagine Environmental Charter School at Frick Park. The mission of The Environmental Charter School at Frick Park is to educate each student to high academic learning standards using a themed curriculum that will foster knowledge, love of and respect for the environment and the will to preserve it for future generations.
Important Weather Updates:
Due to the impending bad weather the following event scheduled on Saturday, Feb 6 have been cancelled:
- Diversity Focus Group meeting (This event will be rescheduled at a later date)
- Blanket-making workshop with Ms. Priganc
- Odyssey of the Mind meetings
Winter Weather Reminders:
- We follow Pittsburgh Public Schools when there is a delay or cancellation. However, if your home school district (i.e. Woodland Hills, Gateway) has a delay, your child’s bus will follow that district’s delay schedule. Your student will not be penalized for tardiness in the event of a delay.
- If your child is a car rider or walker and your home district is delayed but Pittsburgh Public Schools is operating on a normal schedule, you may bring your child as soon as it is safe for you to do so.
- We will ask buses that arrive on the delay schedule to turn on to Henrietta when there is a delay, to ensure adult supervision.
- Please remember to be mindful of all traffic and parking regulations, especially during drop off and pick up times.
New! Our school name will now appear in the school closing and delay updates on WTAE and WPXI.
Enrollment Dates for the 2010/2011 school year
- Re-Enrollment: January 27-February 12
- Open Enrollment: February 15- March 26
- Lottery: April 9
Open houses: February 27th and March 20th
